So far, neither Drake or Kendrick Lamar have spoken about their epic battle, but other people have given some behind-the-scenes information.
The latest to do so is Problem, who spoke to Bootleg Kev about Kendrick's reaction to "Family Matters," the second diss song that Drake dropped in the back-and-forth.
"I’ma give you some real insight. You hearing this first. [Drake] dropped 'Family Matters' and I text [Kendrick] like, 'This ain't it. Man, it’s time to step on his head.' He was like, 'Say less.' I’m thinking it ain’t nothing deep like that. I go to the bathroom, I come back, the motherf*cking song is uploaded," said Problem, talking about Kendrick's "Meet the Grahams."
He continued. "I text him like, 'N*gga, you already [responded]?' He's like, 'I’ve been waiting for this n*gga to drop something.' [Drake] didn’t even know what he was going to get. Man, Drake shot a video and all this sh*t. Sometimes you just gotta know what to do and what not to do."
Should Drake have planned his responses better?
