Kevin Gates Sides With Stacey Dash On Black Life Matters

Stacey Dash has got a lot of heat for where she stands on Black Live Matters. Kevin Gates is willing to take some of that heat with her.

In an interview with Shay Diddy, Gates supported the embattled actress by also rejecting the phrase "black lives matter" for "all lives matter."

Then he expanded upon the issue of police brutality by using his own personal experiences.

"I've got my ass whooped by the police before," Gates explained. "But do you know why? I was belligerent ... I deserved what I got."

Gates went on to say that he's changed his behavior, and that once he started treating cops with respect he's "never had a problem," despite multiple police encounters.

In the past, Gates has expressed controversial takes on everything from vaccines to incest.
