Key Glock hasn't given an interview since his cousin Young Dolph was shot and killed in Memphis on November 17, 2021. But that changed when he sat down with Complex and spoke about the murder for the very first time. [Go to the 23:20 mark]
"I'm maintaining. Like, I'm not getting better, I'm not getting worse. I'm just here right now," Glock explained. "Like, sometimes you just catch yourself stuck, maybe in a cycle, you know, just of emotion all the time. I can't shake it, bro. I can't ignore it. I ain't gonna lie."
Glock, who's an artist on Dolph's Paper Route Empire label, also revealed how he found out about the killing.
"Somebody called me in the house," he said. "Like, you know how you can hear when somebody call your name, like the tone of that voice? Like, you know something wrong, you just don't know what it is."
Rest in peace, Dolph.
