Kid Cudi's Eminem featured track "The Adventures of Moon Man and Slim Shady" got a lot of press over the things Eminem rapped about: police brutality, Drew Brees, and COVID masks.
NME, one of the biggest music publications in the world, reported that Cudi was unhappy with the track at first
Cudi pushed back hard on the reporting.
Never said this and im not sure how yall came up w it. I was clearly excited about my feature. Never once said I was unhappy about it nor did my energy suggest that. So to NME, get ur shit together and stop spreading LIES. pic.twitter.com/L0kz7SFqBi

It might be that NME, a British publication, simply didn't understand American slang.
