Kodak Black does have two Grammy nominations.
A 2023 nom for Kendrick Lamar's Mr. Morale & The Big Steppers album, which he shares with about 100 other people, and 2018 nom for his contributions to Cardi B's hit "Bodak Yellow"
But he's never really got one on his own.
He discussed that during a chat with DJ Akademiks and Adin Ross. [Jump to 5 minutes]
“Y’all know I’m supposed to have a million Grammys,” Kodak claimed. “Ok, but f*ck the Grammy’s, f*ck the awards because sometimes your sh*t don’t always come as a trophy. Look how real n*ggas gotta get their awards. I count the Trump pardon, that’s my Grammy, that’s my award then."
We would say a pardon is better than a Grammy. So Kodak's got that going for him, which is nice.
