Kodak Black was shredded to pieces online this week for trying to honor Kobe Bryant by posting a photo of a helicopter in the colors of Bryant's team the Los Angeles Lakers.
The backlash was heavy because the hoop legend died in a helicopter crash on January 26, 2020, along with his 13-year-old daughter Gianna and seven others.
Kodak seemed to explain the significance of the helicopter photo when he stopped by 99 Jamz for an interview, and his reasoning sounded superstitious.
According to Kodak, he was in an Oklahoma prison when he heard the news of the crash and took it as a sign that he shouldn’t travel by helicopter once he got out to come home. Mainly, because Kobe Bryant’s initials are KB and so are his.
Do you understand Kodak's logic?
