L.A. Rapper Nuke Bizzle Arrested For COVID Fraud After He Bragged In His Bars

Rap music has always had visual stories and rhymes, but sometimes it's a good idea to leave out the full details and bragging. 

Fontrell Antonio Baines, who goes by "Nuke Bizzle,'' recently dropped a video called "EDD," where he openly mocked the government by boasting multiple EDD envelopes, which included debit cards.

"You gotta sell cocaine, I just file a claim," Baines, who also shouted out Donald Trump, rapped.

Unfortunately for Nuke, he was arrested on federal charges alleging he fraudulently obtained unemployment insurance benefits under the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security Act.

Nuke is facing three felonies, which include access device fraud, aggravated identity theft, and interstate transportation of stolen property.

According to the Feds, he had at least 92 debit cards that had been pre-loaded with more than $1.2 million in fraudulently obtained benefits, and he and his cronies accessed more than $704,000 of those benefits through cash withdrawals, and purchases of merchandise and services.

If convicted of all of the charges, Nuke would face up to 22 years in federal prison.
