Labels Passed On Juice WRLD Because They Though He Was Biting Lil Uzi Vert

Juice WRLD may have been on his way to becoming a big star before he ODed last December at age 21.

He's certainly become a big star since.

According to Internet Money producer Taz Taylor, he shopped Juice WRLD around to the labels in 2017, only to be turned down because he sounded too much like Lil Uzi Vert.

 

Do you think Juice WRLD sounded like an Uzi Vert clone?  (And if he did, that's not a bad artist to bite because 2020 has made Vert quite the big star, too.)
