Earlier this week, outspoken basketball dad LaVar Ball said a shoe company should give his three boys a billion dollars for a joint deal.
In the same interview, Papa Ball claimed he could beat Michael Jordan in one on one, even though he averaged just 2.2 points a game during his brief D1 basketball career.
Last night his house was burglarized.
Coincidence? Maybe not so much.
According to police, thieves broke into Ball's home while he was attending his younger sons LiAngelo and LaMelo's televised high school basketball game.
The robbers had moved a pile of Ball family belongings (memorabilia?) to the center of the living room, but were chased off by sirens after the neighbors heard a crash and called the cops.
Nothing ended up being stolen, and police are looking at fingerprints and surveillance video.
