Lil Devin Dead In 'Targeted' Attack

Lil Devin didn't make it to 2022.

The Indian rapper was shot and killed in what police are calling a "targetted attack" minutes before the New Year uring a New Year's Eve party in his Anderson home.

When police arrived on the scene the 24-year old was still alive.  However, he passed away from chest wounds at a local hospital.

Devin had been celebrating with his family when armed men busted in.

“It was traumatic — very traumatic [and] something that I wouldn’t want anyone to ever go through,” Devin's brother Donald Cox said. “I wouldn’t wish that on anyone’s family. It’s definitely hard, we never really expected something like this to come about to such a phenomenal person. He was just one of those people that believed in me before I even believed in myself.”

Police have not announced any suspects.
