Lil Twist Claims He Has 'Carter V'

In an interview with HipHopDx, Lil Twist claims he is one of two people who have the much delayed Lil Wayne album Carter V.

"C5 is fucking crazy," Twist said. "I can't wait ‘til y'all hear it. I'm the only person outside of [Wayne] that got it on my phone. It's fucking crazy. It's berserk. He got a lot of features on that. He working with Mannie Fresh on the album again. That's gonna be good for the people."

Martin Shkreli might disagree with Twist's assertion that only he and Wayne have a copy.

Last year, the recently convicted pharmacy exec said he bought a copy of Carter V on the black market and played snippets of the project to prove it. Shkreli promised to stop doing that when Wayne's camp threatened a lawsuit.

Speaking of felons, when we last heard from Lil Twist he was serving a few months in prison for beating up Nickelodeon star Chris Massey.

Twist has always been tight with Wayne and we believe he's still signed to Young Money. So he may well be telling the truth about having Carter V on his phone.
