Lil Uzi Vert Says He Quits Music; Deletes All His Content

Lil Uzi Vert said he's done making music.

"I wanna take the time out to say I thank each and every one of my supports but I'm done with music," he wrote on his Instagram Stories. "I deleted everything. I wanna be normal. I wanna wake up in 2013. You are free."

The tweet comes despite the fact that Uzi is supposed to drop his Eternal Atake album this year, so it's not clear why he's now quitting.

It may be related to some record label nonsense, because he got into a beef with DJ Drama in January of last year over their Generation Now label. The Philly rapper said Drama was doing "fake shit," and Drama responded and told him to state facts.

And on Shabazz PBG's cut "Shells," Vert said he's "Trying to figure out how I'm tyrna get out my deal," so make of that what you will.
