Lil Wayne Has A New Date For 'Tha Carter 5' And Drops 'Gotti' Feat. The LOX

Yesterday Tha Carter 5 was supposed to come out. Instead, Lil Wayne did a "PSA" explaining his eleventh album had been divided into two parts and delayed.

"If I were to have dropped the album today, it would have been probably like 12 or 13 songs ... I have to come up with a way to give the fans every song that I've been here recording," Weezy, who says he has about 30 songs in the can, reported.

According to Wayne, Tha Cater 5 Part 1 will now drop on December 9th. There isn't a date for the second part, but one would assume it will be sometime in 2015.

At the end of his announcement he played a little bit of one of the songs that will be on Tha Carter 5. The track is titled 'Gotti' and it features Jadakiss and Styles P of the LOX. Here is the full version.
