Lil Wayne Switches Up The Reason He Doesn't Write His Lyrics Down

In the past, Lil Wayne has said he doesn't write down lyrics because Jay-Z says he doesn't write down lyrics.

But these days, his rationale isn't so aspirational.

Weezy, 41, admitted on Undisputed that his lack of pen now has more to do with age and mental decline.

“Thank God for the iPhone. Before, I would have to remind myself all day because I don’t write nothing down. They always be thinking that it’s some type of achievement,” told Skip Bayless and Michael Irvin and Skip Bayless. "No, I don’t write because I’m too old and too tired to be trying to read. You know, they got the iPhone now so I go ahead and record the voice memo."
