Lil Wayne has been teasing a joint album with Drake since not long after Aubrey Graham became Drake.
Weezy kept that hope alive in a new interview with Vibe.
The Young Money Entertainment founder also says that despite a lack of updates, he and Drake still plan to make an album together.
“We’re both doing what we do, but he already know,” Wayne says. “We still text and send songs here and there, change a verse because he killed me or change a verse ‘cuz I killed him. It’s still the same competition.”
But before that happens, Wayne confirmed again we will be getting his 13 solo album Funeral.
Last month, Tunechi declared Funeral was finished, and he was just waiting on Young Money president Mack Maine to do his thing and get it out.
"My album's always done. It just takes Mack to come in there to rack up a couple of songs and name them," he told New Orleans radio station Q93. " That's how it go round here. I work every day. It just take them to come in and say 'let me get these twenty songs, can I have these and name them, and we go from there.'"
