Kanye West's new song "Lonely Roads Still Go To Sunshine" begins with a jail call between himself and Diddy.
The Shade Room shared more audio footage of the men last night, which is probably from that same call.
Diddy can be heard telling Ye to get back to his old self by making sample driven beats again and releasing hit songs. The Bad Boy founder followed that up by calling the system wicked and told Ye to watch himself.
"This sh*t is wicked, wicked, wicked, so you be careful … I need you out there," Diddy told Ye. "And have some f*cking fun … We not having no fun and get behind the mic … Chop up them samples, get back on your hit man vibe … Get back to smiling. F*ck these other motherf*ckers. They are wasting your time."
"When I get out there, man, I want to see you f*cking tear down the stadiums," he went on. "I need to see you back on that stage f*cking actually rapping and performing and everything."
So, there's at least two things to take away from this phone call: One, Diddy isn't fond of Ye's music or career these days. Two, Diddy is confident that he'll be free again.
This past Sunday marked six months since he was arrested and charged with sex trafficking, racketeering conspiracy, and other crimes.
He's now locked up in Brooklyn's Metropolitan Detention Center.
