Before he retired or whatever, Logic cut the suicide prevention track "1-800-273-8255", which is the number to the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline.

After Logic performed the song at the 2017 MTV music awards, calls to the number increased 50 percent.

A new study published in a peer-reviewed medical trade journal from the British Medical Association, the increased interest in the hotline can be tied to a 5.5% reduction in suicide rates among 10-19-year-olds.

Logic was thrilled that his song made a difference.

“To know that my music was actually affecting people’s lives, truly, that’s what inspired me to make the song,” Logic told CNN yesterday. “We did it from a really warm place in our hearts to try to help people. And the fact that it actually did, that blows my mind.”

This follows another study that found Drake makes people run slow.
