Looks Like Vin Diesel Sided With Tyrese in His 'Furious' Feud With The Rock

Earlier this week, Tyrese re-made it known that he is pissed Fast & Furious 9 is getting pushed back a year so an F & F spin-off featuring The Rock and Jason Statham -- but not the rest of the speed racers -- can hit the market.

He blames The Rock for the move.

It was the second time he attacked The Rock for the delay. In September, he mentioned keeping his kids in private school in his long Rock-directed rant, suggesting his beef was about having to wait for a paycheck.

But there may be more to it. Last night, Fast & Furious star and producer Vin Diesel posted a photo with Tyrese and the late Paul Walker with the caption "Brotherhood."

If Diesel is shading The Rock by siding with Tyrese it wouldn't be the first time the two action hero heavyweights clashed over the franchise that's made them both even wealthier.

Last year, The Rock called out some of his male co-stars as "chicken shit" and "candy asses." It was widely understood that Diesel was one of the candy asses.

Diesel tried to downplay the spat, telling the USA Today that in his house The Rock is "always Uncle Dwayne."

However, it looks like there are still issues between Uncle Dwayne and his Furious bros.

This is my final week of shooting #FastAndFurious8. There's no other franchise that gets my blood boiling more than this one. An incredible hard working crew. UNIVERSAL has been great partners as well. My female co-stars are always amazing and I love 'em. My male co-stars however are a different story. Some conduct themselves as stand up men and true professionals, while others don't. The ones that don't are too chicken shit to do anything about it anyway. Candy asses. When you watch this movie next April and it seems like I'm not acting in some of these scenes and my blood is legit boiling - you're right. Bottom line is it'll play great for the movie and fits this Hobbs character that's embedded in my DNA extremely well. The producer in me is happy about this part. I am so grateful to the people in my life who have encouraged me to reach higher... There are people like Pablo, Michelle and Jordanna and so many more who have believed in me and saw my destiny even when I might not have. I often say that when creating and protecting a Saga like Fast, the hardest work happens before our first day of filming...

Update: Diesel speaks on the complexities of brotherhood.

Brotherhood... and all it's complexities. This scene was filmed in Puerto Rico, I can remember it like it was yesterday. Such a beautiful island, the people were so warm and welcoming. I turned 43 that summer... and my son Vincent was born. A woman named Jan Kelly responded to a question I had asked on Facebook, 'who they would like to see me work with?' She said would love to see me work with Dwayne... I listened to her request and he became Hobbs. I know there has been a lot of speculation as to why the Fast 9 release date was pushed... but it would be unfair to say it is anyone's fault. As we plot the course to expand the Fast & Furious universe, one must be mindful to take stock of the roads we took to get here. The pillars of authenticity, family and most importantly, our loyal fan’s perspective has been instrumental in procuring success. However, like any vehicle that has run around the globe 8 times, the franchise is in need of maintenance.
