Today, Ludacris was recognized by the Georgia State Assembly for his charity work. Jeb Bush, brother and son to President Bushes, was there too, creating a Luda-Jeb photo op.
Never thought @Ludacris would be my opening act! His foundation does great work pic.twitter.com/RsF00SQgOw — Jeb Bush (@JebBush) March 19, 2015
Jeb is rumored to be seeking the presidency in 2016, and probably figured the photo would help him with aficionados of the early 21st Century Dirty South sound. (Or something like that.) On the other hand, Luda didn't quite see the benefits of standing next to the former Florida Governor. Especially since he's been quite critical of Jeb's older bro in the past.
As he is leaving statehouse, Ludacris is asked which Bush is his favorite. His response: "The one outside." #gapol pic.twitter.com/7tCh12qiOc — Greg Bluestein (@bluestein) March 19, 2015
OK. There's no getting around it. Luda really blew the chance to make a much better joke.
