Lupe Fiasco Addresses Being Mentioned On Drake's track "5 AM In Toronto"

Drake is saying something about Lupe Fiasco on "5 AM In Toronto," which he recorded in 2012

When the track dropped, some folks thought it was a sly Lupe diss, considering Lupe's career seemed to be on the downswing.

"I don't think he said that," said Lupe after Genius's Rob Markmark read him the lyric. "I don't know. He's never confirmed that. He's never said anything about that and people always bring it to me and make it a thing. And I kinda played into it generally because I ain't really know but I still don't think that's what he said."

Markman then said he doesn't really know because Drake has never clarified.

"I never heard him speak on it," Fiasco agreed. "I can just tell you that Drake has a lot of respect for me and I have a lot of respect for Drake," added Lupe. "A majority of the rappers have a respect for me."
