The latest episode of CNBC's Follow The Leader featured 300 Entertainment head Lyor Cohen and his artist Young Thug.

It gives some neat insight into the sausage making of the music industry. In one clip, Cohen argues with Thug about overcoming his shyness and doing more publicity. Something Thug pushes back against doing.

Then Cohen criticizes Thug's songwriting process:

If you don’t freestyle, and you actually work on the singles and record great choruses and develop your songs... You just record so many songs and leave them like little orphans out there. You have to come back to them, Cohen says. "The critics come back to them!" Thug responds.
In another clip, Cohen starts yelling at Thug to make more songs:

Do you think Cohen's correct that Thugger needs to record more complete songs (and do more publicity) if he wants to make it to the next level?
