Machine Gun Kelly did Everyday Struggle this morning and, of course, there was talk of his beef with Eminem, which remains the high point of his career.
According to MGK, he went after Shady because Em mentioned his name first, and because he felt he had to do it for his generation.
"The internet thing trying to muddy it, that was a little annoying because it was kinda like, we can't be a generation that rides only because a person's a legend and strictly goes off that factor," MGK said at around 16 minutes.. "When we do something for our generation, step up and acknowledge what happened, hold it down. That was not something I was expecting to ever happen. I said what I said, I don't give a fuck . . . That should be the narrative for anyone in our generation."
Later in the interview, he explained the best way to end the intergenerational beef once and for all.
"Put us on a track, see who comes harder," he told Ak at the 47-minute mark.
