Mayor Of Buffalo Declares August 28th WESTSIDE GUNN Day

It's been a productive year for Buffalo rapper WESTSIDE GUNN and his partner Benny The Butcher. 

The duo signed a record deal with Eminem, and a management deal with the billion-dollar man, Jay-Z.

Now, GUNN is receiving some extra love from the Mayor of Buffalo, Byron W. Brown, who officially declared August 28th "WESTSIDE GUNN Day." 

The decisions were based on GUNN being a Buffalo native, his success and the charity work he does in the city with the youth. 

I proclaimed today Alvin “WESTSIDE GUNN” Worthy Day in the City of #Buffalo. Mr. Worthy is a proud Buffalo native who is achieving great success in the music industry, having recently signed a management deal to Jay Z’s Roc Nationrecord label. I congratulate Mr. Worthy on his success and thank him for his commitment to give back to the youth of Buffalo through his Flygod for Families Foundation.
