When we last checked in on Meek Mill, prison life seemed to be treating him about as well as it could. Of course, it's much better to be on the outside. Especially when you have an album to drop. (And a beef with label mate Wale to address.)

According to a source who spoke to AllHipHop, the Maybach Music Group emcee will be released from jail any day now. This jives with the three-to-six month sentence a Philadelphia judge slapped Mill with in July for violating probation by booking out of state show dates, among other things.

Because of his incarceration, Mill hasn't been able to release his sophomore album Dreams Worth More Than Money, which had been scheduled to drop on September 9.

Mill's legal problems stem back to a 2008 convictions on drug dealing and gun charges. He served his time, less than a year, but the five years of probation that followed have proved tricky for the Philadelphia rapper, and landed him in the can this summer.

Now he's about to free again, and we are about to get our first taste of Dreams Worth More Than Money.

Do you think it will be worth the extra wait?
