Drake reflected upon his beef with Meek Mill during his massive Christmas day Rap Radar interview.
Drizzy revealed that it was Serena Williams who advised him to try to write a hit when he was coming up with his second of "Back To Back" disses of Mill.
He also said he has a lot of respect for Meek, somewhat contradicting his recent track "War" in which he declares everyone he has ever beefed with is a "no name."
“Meek’s not a pretender or a joker.... Meek's really about that. I can tell you first hand. I know he's made a change in his life but I'll be the first to tell you Meek's that guy for real. I wasn't beefing with no punk. For us to turn that around was a big thing. We both thought an obligation to have eyes on us. All these young kids. We had to turn that around. We know how far it was going, and almost went," Drake said during the interview.
Meek, who admits he was completely whacked out on drugs when he was beefing with Drake, saw those kind words and responded accordingly.
