Meek Mill defended himself when someone accused him of glorifying drugs.

It was after he addressed the drug problem in his hometown of Philly.

"Homicides in Philly spiked in the last five years because opioids took the city by storm, percocets and dope, in the last five years like crack in the 80s," he tweeted. "And you have a bunch of people making bad choices and doing whatever to provide for their addiction ... I grew up in the 90s where the crack laws had 60% of the grown men in prison for long terms and it left us with no guidance to follow up in their footsteps. Basically grew up in the wild"

"Yet you glorify it," one of his followers commented.

Meek then explained why he talks about drugs in his music.

"I rap about it because I've been caught up in it for 22 years of my life and it's stuck in my mental. Not glorifying it," wrote Meek, who also got at T-Pain recently for saying he'd snitch if he were in Tekashi 6ix9ine's situation.
