Meek Mill's Lawyer Says Judge Is Biased Against Meek

Pretty shocking news out of Philly today. Meek Mill was given two to four years in prison for probation violations.

While Meek has had two run-ins with the law in 2017 -- an airport scuffle in St. Louis and a motorbike wheelie incident in NYC -- he didn't face charges for either.

Prosecutors had recommended no jail time for Meek, who's still in the system for a 2008 drug conviction.

But Judge Genece Brinkley, who's been assigned to Meek's case since the beginning, told the prosecutors today that they were too new to the case to understand how Mill just "does what he wants." Then she hit the MMG rapper with the sentence.

According to Meek's lawyer Joe Tacopina, Brinkley has a personal vendetta against Meek.

They are from the same part of Philly and apparently know some of the same people. During a meeting in chambers last year, Tacopina reports that Brinkley told Meek to do a remake of Boyz II Men's "On Bended Knee" and give her a shout out in it.

Meek thought she was kidding.  According to Tacopina, Brinkley said that she was serious and then told Meek to "suit yourself" when he refused to record the track.

Tacopina believes that shows a bias against Meek, and may use it in the appeal he plans on filing.
