Reginald Graham, the officer who was heavily involved in Meek Mill's 2007 arrest for gun and drug charges, has been confirmed as one of 29 cops who the Philly District Attorney's office put on a Do Not Call list. The purpose of the list is to tell prosecutors not to work with those officers on cases or call them to the witness stand because they have a history of false statements and misconduct.
Last month, the Philadelphia Inquirer published a secret list of corrupted cops and stated that Graham was "Investigated by federal authorities for several alleged acts of corruption." Graham not only arrested Meek in 2007, but he was the only witness in Meek's 2008 trial.
After the first news of the Do Not Call list surfaced, Meek's lawyer Joe Tacopina said it confirmed what was initially put in the motion.
"The release of the so-called Do Not Testify list supports everything in the motions filed by Mill and others wrongfully arrested by Officer Graham for post-conviction relief."
Meek has been granted a post-conviction relief hearing set for next month.
Do you think any of this will get Meek free or at least give him a new trial?
