The preliminary hearings for the Tory Lanez-Megan Thee Stallion criminal case kicked off this week.
Things didn't start off well for Tory as the cop on the case revealed Tory yelled "Dance bitch dance" at Meg as he opened fire.
But he got some better news later in the proceedings.
Witnesses confirmed that Meg had been arguing with her friend Kelsey Nicole, who was in the car with Tory and Meg, right before the incident.
Tory's lawyers then argued the muzzle flash from the gun was closer to Kelsey than Tory and that there was gunfire residue on Kelsey's hand.
Do you think Tory, who's facing one count of assault with a semiautomatic firearm in a manner that caused great bodily injury, and one count of carrying a concealed, unregistered weapon, can pin the shooting on Kelsey?
His trial starts on January 13.
