Today, the forgotten Migo Takeoff dropped 'Intruder,' which is the first solo track under his name.
It was produced by OG Parker, who has also produced recent solo cuts for Offset ('Monday') and Quavo ('Paper Over Here').
But don't read too much into that. XXL reached out to Parker and asked him what was going on, and he said the Migos are still committed to being Migos:
“I really just told them I plan on releasing a couple songs on my SoundCloud,” he says. “That was really just me dropping the solo tracks. That wasn’t their idea or anything. "I never heard anything about solo projects [from them],” he continued. “I always just hear Migos. All I hear is Migos stuff. They always just talk about Migos.”Quavo does seem to be working on a non-Migos project with Travis Scott. But we guess that doesn't count as a "solo" project.
Do you see the Migos sticking together for the long run?
