Now that Kendrick Lamar's Drake diss "Not Like Us" is the number song on the Billboard Hot 100 chart, Mustard, who produced the track, is doing a victory lap.
He posted about the song's success yesterday and said he was able to stage a comeback after facing some adversity.
"Sometimes you really gotta pop out and show n*ggas!!!!" wrote Mustard. "To think . . . They really fronted on me and acted like I’m not who I am ! I’m thankful but not surprised; I never lost sight and stayed down. With my back against the wall is where I thrive. Summer started last week according to me!! See ya sooner than you think! cc: @kendricklamar city back up !!!"
Besides "Not Like Us" being number 1, Kendrick's Drake diss "Euphoria" is the number 3 song in the U.S., and his song with Metro Boomin and Future, "Like That," sits at number 6.
What do you think the success of "Not Like Us" will do for Mustard's career?
