Nas Explains Why He's Done With Rapper's His Age

At a time most rappers his age are slowing down, Nas has never been busier.

The 49-year-old has dropped four albums since 2020.

The Queensbridge legend did Stephen Colbert last night and during the chat, he explained that he can no longer relate to his peers like JAY-Z, 50 Cent, or Ludacris because they are no longer built like him. [Jump to five minutes.]

“I’m really trying to figure out what my next move is, and I feel like a lot of Hip Hop artists my age are not putting out a lot of material, so I can’t look to them as reference,” Nas explained. “They kind of slowed down. For whatever reasons, I understand it’s a tough thing. But I got bit by the bug, man.”
