Tulane junior Teshaun Hightower, who had declared for the NBA draft last week, has been arrested for a Stockbridge, Georgia murder from earlier in the month.
Hightower -- who was the Green Wave's leading scorer this season at 15.9 points after transferring into the program from Georgia -- is being held in Henry County Jail without bond.
Henry County police had responded to a call of a shooting in an apartment complex on April 8 at 11 AM. They found Devante Anthony Long with gunshot wounds. The 24-year old passed away after being taken to the hospital.
Five of the six men who are being investigated for the murder have been arrested, including Hightower's brother Jeffery.
One remains at large.
Hightower is being charged with felony murder, aggravated assault, possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony, and battery.
