NBA Young Boy caught a break when a Baton Rogue judge decided not to revoke his probation in the wake of his recent arrest for kidnapping, weapons charges, and domestic violence.
The charges stem from YoungBoy getting caught on tape beating his girlfriend bloody in an Atlanta-area hotel lobby, although she claims they were just playing.
The rapper is currently serving probation on a ten-year suspended sentence for a 2016 non-fatal drive-by shooting in his hometown of Baton Rouge. After news of the latest incident surfaced, prosecutors in Louisiana suggested they were going to try to have his probation revoked.
But, instead, the judge tacked new conditions onto the probation.
Youngboy will have to wear a GPS monitor, complete a domestic abuse violence program, undergo counseling and complete community service work at the New Orleans Mission. He has to live in New Orleans, not leave Louisiana for six months, and refrain from bars or clubs. He can't make any social media posting and has to enroll in a GED program
He is allowed to go to Atlanta for legal appearances.
