Nicki Minaj gave actor Geoffrey Owens the $25,000 she said she was going to.
The rapper promised Owens the money on her Queen Radio show after a picture of him working at Trader Joe's emerged. Some shamed the actor since he used to be one of the stars on The Cosby Show, but many more people came to his defense and applauded him for holding down a job.
Instead of pocketing the money that Nicki gave him, Owens decided to give it away to charity.
"I would like to give this donation of 25k to the Actor’s Fund in memory of the late, great Earle Hyman, who played Cosby’s father Russell on The Cosby Show, who lived his last many years and died at the Actors’ Home," he told TMZ. "I am extremely grateful to Nicki Minaj for enabling struggling actors to continue pursuing their dreams."
Nicki then responded.
"I'm happy to be a part of a great cause," she said. "I wish Geoffrey much success and want him to know how loved he is. Rest in peace to Earle Hyman."
As for Nicki's feud with Cardi B, it's just been reported that it started over Future. Future was initially on Cardi's song "Drip," but Nicki gave him an ultimatum: Either get off the song or get off their joint NICKIHNDRXX tour. Future chose the tour.
