It's no wonder Nicki Minaj has decided to stay away from her brother Jelani Maraj's child rape trial.
The former stepdaughter of Maraj gave chilling details of what Maraj did to her during testimony yesterday.
“He would call me his puppet and [say] I had no say in what he did to me,” the girl told the court. She explained that the abuse began in 2015, when she was 11.
“It was a Saturday morning,” she said. “I had went to him to go say ‘Good morning.’ I had hugged him as usual. I went to go lie next to him as I usually do. When I did that, he told me to go close the door. He told me to take off my pants. Then he told me to come under the covers with him and he started caressing me.”He then had sex with her and ejaculated in her mouth. The abuse would continue multiple times a week. After a while, he began having anal sex with her.
“He used lubricant and told me to breathe properly and not to clench so it wouldn’t hurt so much,” she said. “It hurt. I told him to stop and tried to push him away.”The girl said Maraj blamed her for what was happening.
“He had mentioned I was brushing myself on him and that I wanted it to happen,” she said.Maraj’s lawyer David Schwartz alleges that the girl’s mother Jacqueline Robinson married Maraj in 2015 for the purpose of getting money from his famous sister. To do so, Schwartz claims Robinson got her daughter to lie to police about a sexual assault and planted evidence, such as the semen that was found her daughter’s pajamas.
Schwartz was hoping Minaj would corroborate that charge and tell the court Robinson tried to shake her down for $25 million. But Minaj's reps have said she won't be testifying.
