The Hollywood Chamber of Commerce announced on Wednesday, August 10, that Nipsey Hussle will be getting a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
There will be a ceremony for the star on August 15, which would've been the late legend's 37th birthday.
The Walk of Fame announcement comes on the heels of Nipsey getting a Los Angeles Metro Rail station named after him. The station, called Nipsey Hussle Square, will be a stop on the Hyde Park K Line that runs in L.A. and Inglewood.
Nipsey was shot and killed on March 31, 2019 in front of his Marathon Clothing store in South Los Angeles. His killer, Eric Holder, was found guilty of first-degree murder last month.
Congrats to Neighborhood Nip and his family for the Hollywood star and train station.
