Nipsey Hussle's brother Samiel Asghedom has filed paperwork to be the administrator of Nip's estate, which he says is worth $2,035,000.
“[Nipsey's] passing has created significant media attention, which, in turn has presented potential time-sensitive business opportunities based on [Nipsey Hussle]’s likeness, right of publicity, and other intellectual property based on the media attention surrounding [Nipsey Hussle]’s exceptional life story and musical career," read the petition.
$2 million may seem a little light, given all the focus on Nip's business acumen and real estate holdings.
That number may be on the upswing. It's been reported that there has been over $10 million in sales at Nip's Marathon store since his death. The physical store has actually closed down, but all orders will be honored through e-commerce.
