The trial date for Nipsey Hussle’s suspected killer Eric Holder has been set by Los Angeles County Superior Court Judge Robert Perry.

The Judge said the trial should last about two weeks, and he hopes it’ll be wrapped up by April 14, meaning it should start around April 1

"Mr. Holder, as you know, this is an important case and a serious case. These cases take time to get ready for trial. You have the right to a speedy trial,” Judge Robert Perry told Holder.  “Are you OK that we continue this case, and you come back on March 18 and we do our best to start your trial within 30 days. Are you OK with that?”

“Yeah,” Holder replied.

March 31, 2020 will be one year since Nipsey was shot and killed in front of his Marathon Clothing Store in the Hyde Park section of Los Angeles. Holder was arrested two days later in Bellflower, Calif., and his bail was set at $7 million. He has pleaded not guilty.

There's also been talk that after the trial Holder will do an interview in which he further discusses his side of the story.
