Earlier this summer, Lil Wayne scored a $10 million-plus settlement in his lawsuit against Birdman.

But it looks like "father and son's" legal problems are far from over.

Last week, Birdman filed a lawsuit against Lil Wayne’s manager Cortez Bryant alleging that he, Lil Wayne and lawyer Ronald Sweeney conspired to steal some of Drake's profits from Cash Money by creating a "shell company" called Aspire.

If this sounds familiar, it's because Aspire is already suing Cash Money for not paying them the royalties they were owed from Drake’s musical catalog.

Drake's deal was structured so that Aspire got 1/3 of the profits from Drizzy's first six albums with the other 2/3's going to Cash Money/Young Money.

Birdman is now alleging Aspire was always a scam.

"Aspire was simply a shell company,” reads the suit, “There was no business purpose to forming Aspire, other than to siphon profits out of the joint venture and to divert those profits to Sweeney, Bryant, and Carter/ Young Money. Aspire never conducted any business other than getting Drake signed to a record label. Aspire has never signed, nor sought to sign, a single additional artist.”

Birdman is demanding Aspire's lawsuit against Cash Money be dismissed and that CM receive additional damages.
