Offset Explains Why He Cheated On Cardi B

Cardi B filed for divorce from her husband, Offset, in 2020 after rumors surfaced that he cheated.

During an interview on Way Up With Angela Yee, he talked about that time and explained why he was unfaithful. [Jump to the 18:13-mark]

"I was young, I had just got married, I'm getting a lot of money," said Offset. "Really, it was communication. We got married, and then we ain't really — our communication was good, but...I wasn't saying my wants and needs, and vice versa ... I was on lean and sh*t, too. ... I was making bad decisions, not really realizing it's affecting my family, instead of me just thinking I'm on my own."

Set also shot down talk that Cardi cheated on him after suggesting it last month on social media.

"So that post, to be honest, me and her, that's my wife, I love her to death," he said about accusing Bardi of cheating. "We going back and forth. And if you've got a New York woman, you know she's a pit bull at the mouth. She get crazy at the mouth a little bit, and I was really lit that night. I was lit. I had a little Casamigos [tequila], and we was going back and forth and I'm like, 'Watch this.' And it's like she got a crazy mouth, but I love my wife at the end of the day and she crazy, man. We're crazy for each other."
