Papoose Shocks His Wife Remy Ma And Retires From Rap

Papoose, whose success never matched his lyrical skills, is hanging it up.

“After this year, I’m not rapping no more. So, I just want to make sure I make it special. I’m done. I’m done,” Papoose said on the HollywoodLife podcast. “I’ve grown in life. I’m in a different space in my life now. So many people who wanted to see me be successful in music, they’re not even here anymore.”

Papoose added that he wants to spend more time with the daughter he shares with Remy Ma and that he will close out his career by releasing an album a month in 2021.

Remy was surprised by Papoose's revelation and bet him $1000 he would be back in the rap game sometime after 2021.
