Paulie Malignaggi went off on Conor McGregor today during a long interview on the MMA Hour.

Malignaggi had been Conor's sparring partner for a couple of sessions. But he quit because he believes Conor’s camp released deceptive photos of McGregor beating up on Malignaggi.

Over the weekend, the 36-year old former welterweight champ used Twitter to disclose that Conor "whimpers like a girl" when hit.

On the MMA Hour, Malignaggi went much more in depth on his issues with McGregor and his camp.

They started when they put Malignaggi up in "some sort of crack house that's barely been renovated a little bit" and had him get in the ring and spar eight rounds shortly after landing in Vegas -- both of which Malignaggi found odd and disrespectful.

"This guy is all about his ego," Malignaggi said, after saying McGregor's more interested in looking good and embarrassing his sparring partners than being a great fighter. "He's actually not trying to get better. He's got a bunch of yes men in his corner who tell him he's doing good even if he's doing bad. It's all about that, he always thinks he's doing good even when he's not. It's just about him and cheerleading."
Malignaggi went on to say that by their second sparring session, Conor couldn't hang with him.

He also spoke on the now notorious photo of Conor knocking him down.

"The thing about the alleged knockdown, it was during one of his worst moments. He pushed me down on the floor to try and catch a break. The instant I went down, I got up, and I remember I continued to trash talk, I said 'Sup buddy, you needed a break?' ... And I started taking it right to him right after that, saying 'There's no breaks here, you don't get no breaks.' And I hit him with more body shots, I said 'Take those, they don't feel good.' So I started hearing a whimper with the body shots too."
When Paulie confronted McGregor about the photo, Conor acted like an "asshole".

I told Conor that it becomes very hard for me to not disclose the NDA that I have when you’re putting up pictures of me ... I had this conversation with Conor after the second sparring in the dressing room and this is probably when I realized what a dickhead this guy is because at that moment we had just done 12 hard rounds and there’s a respect that I’m feeling, at least.” “He looks at me, and I’m expecting, ‘you’re right, Paulie – you got it, let’s just keep this good work going.’ “Instead, he looks at me and he gives me this smirk, laughs at me and he starts walking away from me. “He gives me his back, he’s walking away towards the showers and he’s like, ‘Ha ha, I don’t know Paulie. We got some good ones in those last two rounds. I don’t know about that.’ “At this stage, I’m waiting for Ashton Kutcher to walk into the dressing rooms and tell me I got Punk’d. I thought it was a joke. I thought there was no way this guy is that much of an asshole.”
