It's well known that Cam'ron and Jay Z didn't see eye-to-eye during the Roc-A-Fella years.
However a new anecdote from State Property member Peedi Crakk reveals just how petty Hov was toward Cam.
It started when Cam heard Peedi Crakk's track 'One For Peedi Crakk' in the club. He wanted to get on it, so they arranged to meet in a New York recording studio for a remix.
By the time Crakk arrived, Cam had already dropped the verse and left. But Jay was there in the studio, and he had quite a reaction when he heard Cam's voice.
"While I’m listening to it, Jay walked in the room,” said Peedi during an interview with Doggie Diamonds . “It was me Jay and the engineer" I would get real nervous when this nigga came around. And as soon as Cam’s part came on, Jay tapped the engineer and was like 'Yo, delete that shit. Get that nigga off of there.' The engineer deleted that shit ... he just deleted it.'"A few day later Peedi had to sheepishly admit to Cam what happened. Not to worry said Killa, since he had also burned his verse on a CD.
Peedi Crakk starts talking about the incident around the 7:30 mark.
