PeeWee Longway Claims Gucci Mane Is Coming Home Soon

One of the last orders of business Gucci Mane attended to before he went to jail last summer was to sign PeeWee Longway to 1017.

PeeWee, who recently dropped the mixtape The Blue M&M Vol 2, spoke on his label boss's incarceration status during an interview with Atlanta's Hot 107.9, and offered up a surprising assessment of when Guwop is coming home.

"We gonna break your stage in a couple months,” Longway said.” I broke the news, man. Guwop, a couple months."
After Gucci pleaded guilty to possession of a firearm by a convicted felon it was expected he would serve 29 months, which would have him out by late 2016.

Last month, 1017 tweeted out Mane's prison address and the paperwork included a release date of March 6, 2017.

This all makes PeeWee's new claim of a couple months surprising -- but not necessarily inaccurate.

Since going to prison and sobering up, Mane's output has been ridiculous. Why he released three more albums this week.

It boggles the mind to consider how prolific the Trap God could be as a free man.
