Melle Mel responded to Eminem in a new song and a lot of people are dissing it.
The battle started when Mel was upset because Em was named the fifth best rapper of all time by Billboard.
In short, the 62-year-old said that Em only made the list because he's white.
So, the 8 Mile rapper responded on Ez Mil's track "Realest” and accused Mel of using steroids.
The New York rapper clapped back on his song "Melle Mel’s Response to Eminem’s Latest Diss," which hit the Internet on Tuesday, August 8.
“The Top 5 is cap / You the piss that’s on the floor in the elevator of rap / Why you ducking on The Game when you sh*t on my name? / Why they put Pee-Wee Herman in the hall of fame? / I would give you a pound, but I’d break your hand / I got a lawyer so white, he will take your land / Yo, check your man, come and look at your friend / ‘Cause I think that Eminem is popping pills again.”
Again, a lot of folks dissed Mel's song.
"Damn Mel. You were better off not responding at all. I hope this flies under the radar. I'm embarrassed for you 🤦," someone wrote on YouTube.
"There is NO WAY this is real, lmao. If so, Melle LITERALLY just proved Eminem’s point," wrote another person.
"This man is a Hip Hop Icon. But this is what happens when you don’t check your ego," a third comment read.
