SNL’s Pete Davidson spoke about how big of a Kid Cudi fan he is during a recent interview on The Breakfast Club.
First, Davidson spoke about the controversy surrounding Cudi wearing a dress during his SNL performance last month.
"I loved it. I thought it was great," said Davidson. "When you get criticism like that... It's just like, okay cool. Those are people I don't really want to associate myself with anyway. People that are that close-minded. I thought it was really cool and like a really cool tribute. Virgil [Abloh] made it, it's sick. They're gonna sell it as a unisex dress. I thought he killed it."
Then, The King of Staten Island star spoke about Cudi’s music saving his life in the past. Davidson has suffered from severe depression, which he’s often been candid about.
“I would’ve killed myself. Absolutely. One hundred percent. I truly believe if 'Man on the Moon' didn’t come out, I wouldn't be here,” he admitted.
Do you have an artist that means as much to you as Cudi means to Davidson?
