Polo G Talks About His Mother Shooting At His Sister In New Interview

A lot of people deal with family drama, but it's not everyday a mother fires a gun at her child.

But that's what happened earlier this year when Polo G's mother Stacia Mac opened fire on her daughter and the rapper's sister, Leilani. 

Polo broke his silence on the incident while on The Breakfast Club and said he's been trying to play family mediator.

"I’m a always intervene," he said. "I don’t want to see no sh*t like that. I’m a always try to get in between it before it goes too far ... We family. I feel like because of who I am it’s just being broadcasted more and everybody gon' talk about it. But every family goes through sh*t like that. That's the sh*t I’m accustomed to. My sister is a pretty headstrong person. She’s her mother’s child."

Afterward, Polo said his goal is to get his mother and sister on a phone call, but he first wants both of them to cool off some more.

"It’s something that I want to get around to," he explained. "But I’m definitely letting it breathe a little bit more right now."
