The two adults charged with the murder of Pop Smoke may face the death penalty.

19-year-old Corey Walker and 18-year-old Keandre Rodgers were each charged with murder with special circumstances.  In their cases, murder during the commission of a robbery or burglary.

That makes them eligible for the death penalty, although prosecutors haven't decided yet if they will pursue it.  The also face additional gun and gang charges.

The two juveniles charged with murder, a 15-year-old and 17-year-old, each face one charge of murder and one of robbery in juvenile court.  (What a difference a year makes.)

Their names aren't being disclosed because they are minors.

Pop Smoke was killed on February 4 when masked men busted into the rental home he was staying in Los Angeles. Authorities believe the suspects saw Pop and his friends stunting cash and goods on social media and decided to strike. They don't believe they know Pop or his friends personally.
