Before Post Malone was Post Malone he went by Austin Richard (his first and middle name.) Like many an aspiring 16-year-old singer, Austin had a Soundcloud page

Somebody just found that page and it should come as no huge shock that Austin Richard doesn't sound a lot like Post Malone.

As you can hear, Post used to have more of an emo/folk/guitar vibe.

Obviously, the Hip Hop hybrid sound Post stumbled into with his breakout hit "White Iverson" was a good career move.

Post was the second most streamed artist of 2018 in all genres, trailing only Drake and racking up billions of spins.
